WELLS-MOODY BEACH MAINE

Drove to Kennebuckport to see the home of George Bush both father and son. Its right on Walkers Point.

This is The Wedding Cake House. Built in 1825 by shipbuilder George W. Bourne. The story was he built this home for his wife since he could not take her on a proper honeymoon. Bourne spent the rest of his life adding to these embellishments. He knew no limits to his carpentry skills.

We are camped in Wells, Maine and will visit Paula's brother Brian. He lives in Boston, but is staying in Wells for the summer. Paula asked him to show us around and he was so kind to do so. We went to Ogunquit Beach which has every kind of shop and food restaurant you can imagine that a tourist would love. We dinned at the 501 restaurant then went to a piano bar to see a show.

The show was a female impersonator of Judy Garland, Betty Davis, Katherine Hepburn and Pearl Bailey. Great show!!

The last picture shows She was a He. His name is Michael, what a show.

We enjoyed our visit with Brian. Tomorrow we head to New Hampshire. Maine had 100 degree weather which it has not had in 100 yrs., and we were here to witness it. It was hotter than Texas!!!!!!
